In Term 3, Visual Arts students from Prep to Senior Secondary participated in the Jackson School Card Competition. The Jackson School Card Competition is an annual feature of the Visual Arts program in which the students are required to produce their own individual artwork in their own chosen medium. Images of all the artwork have been hung at the back of the staff room for the staff and students to vote for their favourite artworks.
This year there will be five categories in which there will be one winner for each section. The sections will be Prep to Year 3, Year 4 to Year 6, Years 7 and 8, Years 9 to 12, plus one bonus winner from all sections. The winners will be unveiled in Week 2 of Term 3. It’s been a wonderful opportunity for all the students to showcase their amazing skills. There has been so much enthusiasm from the students when they have been completing their artwork!
